Summer is festival time!
If you have teens, young adults, or maybe even tweens you know what festivals is. Maybe you are just a hip adult! I like to think that I am. I guess we would have to ask my kids.
When you hit 40 it can be difficult to decide what to wear to events like a festival.
We still want to look good. Wearing really short shorts, crop tops, and some of the other current styles may not be us.
If you look good in a crop top at any age, go for it! I do not believe in stigma or saying that someone is too old to wear this or that. Just keep it classy is all I say and I say that to women of all ages.
I put together a look today that should speak to all ages as well, including us 40 something women, and it is still super stylish and fun!
This A-line dress is by Glostory on Amazon. Right now as of writing this there is literally one left in a size large! Grab it here!
Mocassins are always in style and forever will be. Mine are by no other than Minnetonka.
Getting older does not mean we can’t still have fun or dress fun!
I was going to festivals before my kids were even born!
My jacket is by Miss Love and came in a clothing subscription box.
Use my look as an inspiration to create your own.
I love the print on the dress and jacket.
I carried out the look with the mocs and earrings that captured the same spirit.
A-line dresses are wonderfully slimming! Especially if you have wider shoulders like me or are an inverted triangle shape.
A belted waist is perfect if you have an hourglass figure! Belts can be adjusted to show off your smaller waist.
My outfit has a tribal inspiration that feels very natural to me. You may opt for more colors or a different print.
To feel comfortable in your clothing it has to feel right to you as a person.
No matter your age, you should feel beautiful in what you wear. That feeling should show.
You are never too old to wear festival clothing. You are never too old to have fun!
If I live to be in my sixties I will still be rockin’ new styles!
Never give up on fashion because fashion is so much more than clothing.
Fashion is inspiration, individualism, creativity.
It helps our economy, boosts confidence, and gives someone a great first impression.
Fashion reflects culture, religion, and is historical!
