It’s no secret that I adore nature. When I discovered Teri-Made Leaf Art years ago it truly touched my soul. I knew that her nature-inspired and designed artwork would one day grace my home.
Her art is whimsical, detailed, and inspiring.
Not only is Teri an award-winning artist, her inspiration is derived from nature.
Leaf Art And So Much More:
Disclosure: This is a sponsored collaboration between Fierce Beyond Forty and Teri-Made Leaf Art. I only write about products I personally love.
Teri creates true works of art from herbs, flowers, plants, weeds, and leaves.
I subscribe to her newsletter because she is very informative and educates her readers on everything from leaf lore to our Mother Earth.
Teri says that leaf art is a celebration of her love of nature and the recognition that we are a part of nature and must live synergistically.
I absolutely agree!
From the first moment I set my eyes upon Teri’s beautiful portfolio I knew exactly which creations I wanted in my home.
Firefly Festival Fireworks was the first leaf art to catch my eye and my heart.
The Queen Anne’s Lace truly does look like fireworks bursting but you would be amazed at what all goes into creating a piece of art like this!
You can read all about each work of art Teri creates on her site from how the work came to be, the elements used in the process, and Teri’s feelings about the pieces.
Please read more about Firefly Festival Fireworks.
My print will be gracing my hallway once I have it professionally framed.
Why I Love Leaf Art:
You see, I am very picky when it comes to how I decorate my home.
I am not one to simply buy something from the retailers with no backstory.
To me, art should be personal.
I am pretty good with DIY projects but when it comes to wall art, forget about it.
I do not want to plaster my walls with non-descript pieces and nothing that touches the heart.
Rather, I opt for things handed down by my family, even if a bit off the wall, no pun intended.
However, I was left with a lot of bare space to fill.
I searched for works of art that spoke to me, had some value in their meaning, but I just was not getting the feels for anything.
Art That Connects To The Soul:
Then I remembered Teri and how inspired I was by her beautiful creations.
I am honored, and proud to not only own several of her works now but to tell everyone about her!
This is art that not only makes my home feel complete but art that I personally connect to, even if I did not create it myself.
That is what art should do!
Make you feel connected to the image and also the medium used to create it.
Leaf Art Prints:
Teri does not sell original art because leaves and other media she uses deteriorate.
Her art is scanned immediately once finished and prints are sold.
This way they last forever.
Trust me, this does not take away from the intricate detail of the work.
You can easily see detail and dimension in her prints.
Those who see your art hanging on your wall will want to reach out and touch it!
Why Teri Made Leaf Art:
It is important that we support small business, even more so when it comes to artists.
Art is something that is made from passion, drive, love, and desire to birth something special.
Something from the mind, heart, and soul.
When we view it we should feel something ignite within us.
I prefer to ignite my creativity, the beauty of the world around us, and receive a peaceful grounded feeling.
Teri-Made art does this for me.
Each of her works is unique and tells a story.
She has something for every home and every personality.
